Michael L. Volk lives in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and move buddy, Karen, and their two cats, who have replaced their two daughters who now live in Idaho and Michigan. He is a late-blooming writer, working in finance and technology for the last 30 years, taking the commuter train into downtown Chicago like a Cheever character. But as a long-time classic movie buff, he’s wanted to share his reverence for movies with others. The tragic ending of Owen Taylor allowed him to do that.
